She has established a style of painting that is winning her worldwide acclaim. Mitjili Napanangka Mitjili was born circa 1940 at Winparrku near Papunya, an area west of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory. Her country is called Wilkinkarra which is her father’s country. This area is near Lake Mackay in the Gibson Desert. Wilkinkarra is on the edge of the Western Australian border with the Northern Territory. She is from the Pintupi Language group, and also speaks the Warlpiri language.

Julie Nangala

Using an aerial perspective Julie´s current paintings (which depict the topographical features of her traditional country at the site of Pirlinyanu) have become works of extraordinary optical brilliance as she alternates the size of dots throughout her work as well as building up specific shapes or reference points often by repeated overdotting.

Vincent Forrester Vincent Forrester Muntjantji is a Luritja/Aranda man, a traditional elder of Mutitjulu who was born in Alice Springs in 1952. Vincent was raised at Angus Downs Station (400km southwest of Alice Springs). He grew up as a Stockman and spent most of his youth traveling through the country mustering stock. During this time he lived in close proximity with Bessie Liddle, a very well known artist and senior law woman who was married to his uncle, Arthur Liddle.

Barbara Reid

Vital to Barabara's work is the telling of women's sacred stories - minyma - narratives that revolve around the role of the woman as healer and provider within Ngaanyatjarra society.

Gracie Morton Gracie's paintings are distinctively minimalist, highlighted by delicate dotting and a traditional palette. Her most commonly depicted subject is the bush plum known to the Alyawarre people as Arnwekety.
