Using an
aerial perspective Julie’s current paintings (which depict the
topographical features of her traditional country at the site of
Pirlinyanu) have become works of extraordinary optical
brilliance as she alternates the size of dots throughout her
work as well as building up specific shapes or reference points
often by repeated overdotting. |

 |
Vincent Forrester Muntjantji is a Luritja/Aranda
man, a traditional elder of Mutitjulu who was born in Alice Springs in 1952.
Vincent was raised at Angus Downs Station (400km southwest of Alice
Springs). He grew up as a Stockman and spent most of his youth traveling
through the country mustering stock. During this time he lived in close
proximity with Bessie Liddle, a very well known artist and senior law woman
