In this powerful work in natural works, the area represented in this painting is Kings Canyon, “ Lilla ” sweet water. This area is home to three ancestral beings the Wayota (possum), Itjatjarri Itjatjarri (marsupial mole) and Kunia (python). This painting tells the story of one particular night these three ancestors stole the bush tucker that Wanambi (rainbow serpent) had hidden near the large waterhole at the side of Uluru.

When Wanambi got up in the morning to discover the bush tucker missing, he became furious and went over to Kings Canyon to vent his anger at the three thieves. He projected his rage at the side wall of the canyon. It can still be seen as black staining on the smooth canyon wall.
