Kayili Arts is situated at Patjarr, a tiny community in the Ngaanyatjarraku Shire of the Gibson Desert, a couple hundred kilometres north of Warburton, and about the same distance west of Warakurna. The art centre was established approximately in 2005 to service the senior traditional owners that live in his remote community. Many great artists move between Warbuton and Patjarr visiting family.

The artists are proud of their powerful, strong paintings that are steeped in traditional law, knowledge of which is passed down from generation to generation.
