Mitjili Napanangka
Gibson, acclaimed artist and star of the award winning short
film Nana will be in Sydney to celebrate her performance in
Samson & Delilah.
This film has been chosen to screen on the opening night of the
10th Message Sticks Indigenous Film Festival at the Sydney Opera
House on May 7.
In honour of this special occasion, Gallery Gondwana will host a
special morning tea on Saturday 9 May at 11am. We invite you to
come along, see a recent collection of Mitjili’s extraordinary
paintings and receive a 2 for 1 movie pass to see her in the
film. Exhibition to be opened by the award winning
director-writer-cinematographer of Samson & Delilah, Warwick
Thornton.
In attendance will also be producer Kath Shelper plus the two
leads Rowan McNamara (Samson) and Marissa Gibson (Delilah).
