Claire E. Hayes Peltharre

Claire E. Hayes Peltharre belongs to the Eastern Arrernte language group, also known as Aranda, whose dialect is one of the most widely spoken in Australia. She is part of a talented artistic family, including her sister Sharon K. Hayes and Jacinda Hayes, who also contribute to the vibrant tradition of painting within their community.

They live at Ltyentye Apurte, also known as Santa Teresa, is a community iabout 80 kilometres south-east of Alice Springs nestled in the Eastern MacDonnell Ranges.
