Jeanie Lewis Napangardi

Jeanie Napangardi Lewis is an Indigenous Australian artist born at Mount Doreen Station in the Northern Territory. She belongs to a well-known Warlpiri painting family and is the sister of celebrated artists Dorothy Napangardi and Judy Watson Napangardi. Her work depicts important Jukurrpa (Dreaming) stories connected to Mina Mina, a significant women’s ceremonial site located west of Yuendumu near Lake Mackay, close to the Western Australian border.
