Rosie Karadada

Rosie Karadada, is the sister-in-law of well known Kalumburu artist - Lily Karadada. Both women possess their own unique style and have proved to be quite prolific artists. Rosie has a bold, uncompromising style of free drawing, reliant on harsh tonal contracts which give her works their characteristic brightness. The imagery is simple and often painted with thick red ochre outlines on a white background.

Rosie is of Woonambal language, skin name is Ngulidd - Man. She was born in Prince Regent River and her domicile is Kalumburu, Western Australia.

She is represented in many collections including Artbank, Sydney, AGSA (Art Gallery of South Australia), NGV (National Gallery of Victoria) and The Holmes a Court Collection.
