Susie Ngwarrey Peterson

Susie Ngwarrey Peterson was born in Wutunugurra (Epenarra) in 1965 and is well recognised for her beautiful depictions of landscapes that are rich with colour in thickly applied paint. She brings her country to life by showing the hills, rivers, wildflowers, bush foods and medicine.

The small community of Wutunugurra is in hilly country, on the north-eastern edge of the Davenport Ranges (Ilywelepenty).
