Violet Samson

Nana Violet Samson, a Senior Ngarluma Elder and artist, shared in a 2019 interview with Better Homes and Gardens , "Art works tell our story and our history, about our land and our heritage and helps people to respect Aboriginal culture." Born in Cheeditha Station in 1949 to Ngarluma parents, Violet is one of the last traditional owners of the Ngarluma lands, the land of the Saltwater People.
