Nancy Dilyai, Janayiwom Country Screenprint

Janayiwom Country - This is my country west of Kununurra in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia. There is a big hill here. The hill is the dreaming for Bull Ants. The small shapes in the painting are the bull ant eggs. This is part of my country. Around the edge of the print are lots of smaller hills.

Based in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, Nancy is a well known printmaker. Collections include the National Gallery of Australia.
